Smoke and Mirrors
Exhibition in Palffy Palace
The intergenerational group exhibition Smoke & Mirrors critically explores current rupture in the political interpretation of the world.
The hegemonic and ideological shifts in public discourse that we are experiencing in Slovakia extend beyond the borders of nation states are part of a global pattern. They are transforming the cultural, social, and economic reality that is moving away from democratic principles towards authoritarian regimes and growing inequality. The exhibition employs systematic analysis to contribute to the discussion around the causes of changing social conditions and the prospects for new alliances and opportunities for social reconciliation.
